Beginning January 2009 we present our ‘101 Series’ of classes. We’ll begin with Babywearing and Cloth Diapering and expand from there. Have an idea of a class you’d like to attend or one you’d like to teach? Drop us a line.

Babywearing 101

Babywearing 101 is an introduction to the wide world of baby carriers, slings, Mei Tais, structured carriers and wraps. This is the first class of its kind in the Columbus, Ohio area. Geared toward expectant and new parents, we will walk through each type of carrier and discuss the differences between them and the situations they are best used for. We will leave some time at the end of class for questions and trying on the carriers.

Cloth Diapering 101

Another first for Columbus, this cloth diapering class will dicuss the different types of cloth diapers, delving a bit into the different fabrics and styles available. We will also walk through how to use and care for each type. At the end of class there will be time to touch and examine the options or try your hand at diapering a doll.

All Sprout Soup 101 series classes require advance registration and a $10 fee per family. At the end of class you will receive $10 in store credit. Sign up in store or by calling (614) 26-SPROUT. Space is limited in the classes, but we can accept registration the day of if there are open seats. As with all events at Sprout Soup, your children are welcome to attend with you.
